How It Works
The EVC provides new points of reference for your vehicle's throttle mapping by modifying the torque request sent to the throttle tables in your vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU). This results in faster throttle activation, reduced throttle lag, and enhanced throttle response without impacting fuel mapping, air-to-fuel ratios, or injection timing.
Driving Modes
Factory Mode
Replicates factory throttle settings - essentially switches the EVC off. Ideal for sharing your vehicle with unfamiliar drivers or comparing throttle response against factory levels.
Ultimate Mode (9 levels)
Enhances throttle response beyond factory limitations with 9 sensitivity settings:
- Levels 1-3: Everyday driving with smooth acceleration
- Levels 4-6: Sportier, more responsive acceleration for city driving
- Levels 7-9: Maximum performance with instant throttle response
Economy Mode (9 levels)
Reduces throttle response below factory parameters for greater control. The higher the sensitivity, the more dampened the throttle response becomes. Perfect for off-road driving, heavy traffic, low-speed towing maneuvers, and fuel economy improvements.
Adapt Mode (Automatic Control)
Takes the guesswork out by automatically determining the best Ultimate Mode sensitivity based on pedal pressure and position. Smooth setting selection from gentle acceleration in traffic to aggressive overtaking.
