Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made through the Mobile Auto Tech Expert Pty Ltd - M.A.T.E. Platform (Platform) and outlines how and when your order will be delivered. This Shipping Policy is to be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use.
Please note that we currently only ship to addresses within Australia.
- Delivery address
Your order will be delivered to the address you nominate as the delivery address at check out. Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete. We are not liable for lost or delayed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address details.
- Processing and dispatch times
- Orders are typically processed and dispatched within two (2) to five (5) business days of receiving payment in full, however it may vary depending on certain circumstances.
- Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or public holidays.
- Orders received after 5pm will be processed the next business day, in preparation for dispatch.
- If there is a significant delay in processing or dispatch of your order, we will contact you by email or phone.
- Estimated delivery times
Estimated delivery time frames depend on what shipping option you select at check out.
Due to nature of the goods, we cannot guarantee shipping times, and we do not have options for setting a specific delivery date or time.
Any delivery timeframes are estimates only and may not be relied upon or guaranteed as they may vary due to factors outside of our reasonable control (such as carrier delays, weather events or peak seasons).
- Estimated shipping costs
Shipping fees are estimated at checkout based on your nominated delivery address and shipping method. Free shipping may be offered for orders over a certain value, as specified on our Platform from time to time. You are solely responsible for paying any applicable duties, taxes or import charges.
Our team is continually learning and improving our shipping estimates. In rare cases, especially for large or bulky items or where your delivery address is located in a remote area, the actual shipping costs may significantly exceed the amount you paid at checkout. If this happens, we will contact you before shipping.
We reserve the right to either adjust the shipping fee (with your approval) or cancel the order and provide a full refund if the shipping fees exceeds the estimated amount.
- International delivery
We do not currently accept orders for international deliveries outside of Australia. We may also not be able to fulfil orders to certain locations if our delivery providers are unable to do so for a reasonable expense. We will inform you by email if your order is unable to be fulfilled and refund or cancel your order.
- Tracking
Where possible, you will be provided with a tracking number by email when your Order has been shipped. Tracking may not be available for all delivery methods or locations.
- Accepting delivery
- Delivery occurs when the good purchased has been delivered to your nominated delivery address or if no one is available to collect or sign for the good, where it is redirected to a collection facility.
- You accept full responsibility for your good once Delivery occurs. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any person present at your nominated delivery address is authorised to receive your delivery.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, theft or damage after Delivery has occurred, including where a delivery is accepted by another person or an unauthorised person at the delivery address.
- If we are unable to deliver your goods due to you not being available to collect or sign for the goods or there not being an suitable location to deliver the goods, you are liable for the costs of storage and re-delivery of the goods.
- Title and risk
- Risk in the goods passes to you once they have been dispatched from our premises or collected by the delivery carrier, whichever occurs first.
- While we take reasonable care in packaging and dispatching your order, we are not responsible for any loss, damage or delay in transit after dispatch, except as required under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Title and ownership in the goods passes to you when we have received cleared payment in full. Until title has passed, we reserve the right to take steps to recover the goods if payment remains outstanding, subject to our obligations under applicable laws.
- Nothing in this clause limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Delivery issues
- If your order is missing, or appears to be damaged, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible (preferably within three (3) days of the expected delivery date or date of receiving the good, as applicable) so that we can assist you.
- We may help lodge an investigation with the delivery carrier if needed.
- This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your entitlement to a remedy if goods are not delivered in a reasonable time or arrive damaged or faulty.
- Changes to this policy
We may update or change this Shipping Policy at any time by publishing the updated version on our Platform. Please review the policy before making a purchase to ensure you are aware of the current terms.
