Driving Modes
Normal Mode - Replicates factory settings, essentially the EVC is switched off.
Ultimate Performance Mode - Features 10 different adjustability levels:
- Ultimate 1-3: Everyday driving with smooth acceleration
- Ultimate 4-6: Sportier, more responsive acceleration for around town
- Ultimate 7-9: Maximum performance with instant throttle response
Economy Mode - Features 9 settings that reduce throttle response for greater control on loose or uneven surfaces, perfect for off-road situations and towing.
Automatic Control Mode - EVC is the first electronic throttle controller to include AC mode, which automatically chooses the ultimate throttle response based on pedal pressure and input.
How It Works
The EVC provides new points of reference for your vehicle's throttle mapping, modifying the voltage signal from the drive-by-wire pedal assembly. This reduces the "dead zone" and throttle lag while improving overall control. The unit plugs directly into your pedal command module and does not impact fuel mapping, air to fuel ratios, or injection timing.
Installation
Simple plug-and-play installation that can be completed in as little as 5 minutes. The unit simply plugs in-between your factory pedal assembly and pedal plug, with wiring run through the dash to a suitable mounting location. Complete installation and operation instructions are included.
