Design & Performance
The AE470x series features coaxial termination embedded within the spring assembly with easy screw-down fit of the whip. The massive spring base is coupled to a very strong fibreglass whip mast that measures 30mm diameter where it connects to the spring base and 20mm diameter at the top.
This antenna system allows you to quickly switch between whips depending on operating conditions - shorter lengths with lower gain for mountainous terrain or built-up areas, and longer lengths with higher gain for traveling on open roads or flat terrain.
Mounting
Suitable for bull bar or nudge bar mounting on 4WD vehicles, caravans, and heavy vehicles. The rugged and versatile mount allows vertical and horizontal adjustment for flexible mounting options.
