3-Megapixel Recording Quality
The DRV-N520 delivers superior recording quality with 3-megapixel resolution (2304 x 1296 pixels), providing higher resolution than Full HD (1920 x 1080). Records at 27 frames per second for smooth, detailed footage.
Integrated System Compatibility
The DRV-N520 requires connection to compatible KENWOOD multimedia systems (2017-2018 models) to realize its full functionality. Features 2-way communication allowing camera settings and recorded videos to be displayed on the large screen and operated from the receiver’s touch panel.
Advanced Safety Features
Equipped with Safety Alert Features including lane departure warning and forward collision detection. When dangerous situations are detected, a beep sound and caution pop-up is displayed on the KENWOOD system.
G-Sensor & Event Recording
The integrated 3-axis G-sensor measures forces of acceleration and automatically saves and locks recordings when sudden motion is detected, protecting critical footage from being deleted. Records G-force direction and strength of possible impacts.
GPS Integration
Built-in GPS receiver stores speed, latitude and longitude data with video recordings. Uses the receiver’s GPS for more accurate location information integrated as part of the dashboard camera video content.
Parking Mode
When the vehicle is parked and turned off, parking recording mode becomes active. If the vehicle is subject to a collision or similar event, power is supplied to the camera and parking recording starts automatically.
Recording Modes
- Continuous Recording: Starts as soon as the vehicle starts, with oldest files deleted when storage capacity is exceeded
- Manual Recording: 10 seconds before button press plus user-set time
- Event Recording: Automatically triggered by collisions with 10 seconds before event plus user-set time
