Semi Synthetic 10W-40 is a premium quality, semi synthetic, SAE 10W-40, engine oil for use in a wide range of modern motor vehicles. It is formulated using high performance base oils with advanced engine oil additive technology including a FULL ZINC anti-wear package for complete engine protection with outstanding fuel economy.

Engine Compatibility

Semi Synthetic 10W-40 is designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder, multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged engines.

Recommended for vehicles where:

SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 engine oils were originally recommended
ACEA A3/B3 or ACEA A3/B4 is specified
API SP and previous API specifications SN, SM, SL and SJ were recommended

Fuel Compatibility

Petrol/LPG (Dual Fuel)
E10 fuel
Diesel (without DPF)
Light duty diesel engines where API CF, ACEA A3/B3 and A3/B4 is recommended
Most other conventional fuels

Note: If using with E85 fuel, more frequent oil change periods are recommended.

Important Notes

NOT recommended for rotary engines
NOT recommended for diesels fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) that require an ACEA "C" grade Low-SAPS engine oil
NOT recommended for four stroke motorcycles with a wet clutch - use appropriate Penrite MC-4ST motorcycle oil instead
