Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker is a noncorrosive gasketing material designed primarily for use on aluminum, iron, and steel flanged mating surfaces. This versatile product is ideal for on-the-spot and emergency repairs, or when a conventional gasket is unavailable.

To Make a Gasket:
- Clean both flange surfaces completely, removing paint, dirt, grease or old gasket material
- Spray Permatex Surface Prep® activator on one surface only and allow to dry 1-2 minutes
- Apply a continuous bead of sealant to the unprimed surface
- Assemble mating surfaces with minimal lateral movement
- Excess sealant can be wiped away with a cloth and shop solvent
