The REDARC Smart Start® SBI12D is a microprocessor-controlled battery isolator designed for use in dual battery systems as a solenoid priority system. This advanced isolator provides 12 volt DC operation with 100A of continuous current rating, engineered to protect the start battery from excessive discharge while allowing the auxiliary battery to supply non-essential loads.

Dual Sensing Capability
The SBI12D dual sensing model isolates the start and auxiliary batteries in systems where the auxiliary battery may also be charged by external sources such as solar panels or AC battery chargers. The unit allows the start battery to be charged by the external source once the auxiliary battery reaches 13.2 volts, providing an effective way to maintain the start battery.
