The BCDC1240D features state-of-the-art dual input technology that allows simultaneous charging from both your vehicle’s alternator and solar panels. With its built-in Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, the unit optimizes power output from solar panels ensuring maximum charge even in low light conditions.

Universal Compatibility
Designed for both 12V and 24V vehicle systems, the BCDC1240D works seamlessly with both standard and variable/smart alternators. The unit’s input voltage can be above, below or equal to the output voltage making it ideal for charging auxiliary batteries where voltage drop may occur.
Patented Charging Profiles
Featuring REDARC’s patented charging profiles including a dedicated lithium profile, the BCDC1240D charges AGM, GEL, standard lead acid, calcium and LiFePO4 batteries to a proven 100%. The three-stage charging algorithm is independent of input voltage ensuring optimal charging regardless of conditions.
Rugged Australian Design
Built in Australia and tested for extreme conditions, the BCDC1240D operates in temperatures up to 80°C and handles water, dust and vibration. The potted construction ensures reliable operation in engine bay installations where harsh conditions are common.
Safety & Protection
Comprehensive protection features include voltage spike protection, overheating protection, reverse polarity protection and dual battery isolation to prevent auxiliary battery from draining your main battery.
