The BCDC1250D represents the latest variant of REDARC’s award-winning BCDC Dual range, featuring Smart Start technology. Styled with a distinctive red line running down its back, this dual battery charger delivers a powerful 50-amp charging output, making it the most powerful in REDARC’s BCDC range.

Advanced Dual Input Charging

Featuring a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, the BCDC1250D charges from both solar and alternator inputs simultaneously. With built-in ‘Green Power Priority’, it selects solar charging first to reduce load on your alternator. The unit features an additional charging stage called SoftStart, engineered to handle more demanding applications.

Universal Battery Compatibility

The BCDC1250D features charging profiles for multiple battery types including AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid, Calcium, and LiFePO4 batteries. As a guide, it’s used for battery bank sizes over 200AH, with smaller batteries of 75-200AH best suited to the BCDC1225D.

Built for Australian Conditions

Built in Australia and independently tested to ensure battery life is maximized, charging batteries to a proven 100%. The charger operates in extreme heat up to 80°C and handles deep water crossings. Built to resist water, dust, and vibration with a working temperature range of -15 to +80°C.
