Installation
The temperature sender can be mounted in several ways:
- Directly into an available water temp port (e.g., inlet manifold)
- Piggy backed off the OE sender/switch using a brass T-Adaptor
- Most commonly, into a top radiator hose inline t-piece
Wiring
Should the standard sender wire not be long enough, splice in additional wire with a gauge NO GREATER than supplied loom wire. SAAS recommends <= 20AWG wire. Use of heavier gauge wire or excessive length will impact resistance and distort temperature readings.
