Installation Notes
The sender is most commonly piggy-backed off the OE oil pressure sender/switch using a brass T-Adaptor. If that's already being used for an oil pressure gauge, consider using a SAAS oil filter sandwich plate that provides up to 3 sender ports for accessories.
For optimal performance, should the standard sender wire not be long enough, splice in an additional length of wire with a gauge NO GREATER than the supplied loom wire. SAAS recommends wire gauge of 20AWG or less. Use of heavier gauge wire or excessive length will impact resistance and distort temperature readings.
