Fire Extinguishing Technology
Utilizes specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical agent. This chemical insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 177°C and coating the surface. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires while being electrically non-conductive, ensuring operator safety when used on electrical fires.
Compliance
Meets Australian Standard AS2444 Section 5.4 Table 5.1 requirements for passenger and cargo carrying vehicles. Also complies with CAMS requirements under Schedule H for Speed Events, Races and Drifting.
Maintenance
Requires five-yearly hydrostatic pressure testing in accordance with AS1851 (six-yearly if using AS1851-1995). Testing is based on manufacture date stamped into the body rather than purchase date.
