The Problem
It is a common occurrence for side draft carburettor installations to suffer from damage and flooding issues due to vibration. As the carburettor is mounted sideways, often on a long runner manifold, it is more susceptible to engine vibration. This vibration can cause:
- Flooding issues as the float needle lets in too much fuel
- Stress cracks to appear in the main body of the carburettor, particularly around the stud flange

Redline Performance produces this special soft mount kit for 40 to 48mm size side draft carburettors to solve the problems of vibration.

- Special vulcanized rubber 'O' ring style gasket bonded to two aluminum plates
- Set of nyloc nuts and rubber grommets with captive washers to insulate the carburetor from the manifold's mounting studs
