Construction
Our silicone intercooler hoses feature minimum 5-ply laminate construction reinforced with polyester weave between each layer. The FVMQ fluorosilicone inner lining, easily identified by its distinctive red colour, is an advanced elastomer originally developed for the aviation industry that exhibits excellent oil resistance properties.
Installation
The multi-ply design may require warming to fit over pipe flanges and should be installed with the provided hose clamps to ensure a secure seal. Designed to be more robust than OE style rubber hoses, providing increased protection against common failure modes.
