Installation
To install the adaptor, you will need to plan for draining your engine/transmission oil and to drill a positioning hole into your oil pan/sump. A 14mm hole will need to be drilled into the pan for proper installation. It is recommended that there is adequate internal clearance so that the fitting adaptor and sender does not interfere with anything when fitted.
Compatibility
Depending on your selected mounting position, this adaptor may also be used as a drain plug in the absence of an installed sender. The adaptor features 1/8-27 NPT threading for secure connection with compatible temperature senders.
