Weber Idle Jet Size 65 - Part Number 74403-065
The Weber Idle Jet Size 65 is a precision-calibrated fuel metering component designed for use with a wide range of Weber carburettors. This high-quality idle jet controls fuel delivery during low engine speeds and part throttle operation, ensuring smooth idle performance and optimal fuel mixture.
Key Features
- Size 65 calibration engraved directly into the jet for permanent identification
- Precision-machined for exact fuel flow control
- Compatible with multiple Weber carburetor series including ADC, ADF, ADFA, ADL, ADLA, ADLD, DAC, DAR, DGV, DGAV, DGA, IDA 3C and many others
- Supplies fuel at low engine speeds until air velocity increases sufficiently to engage the main circuit
- Critical for proper transition from idle circuit to main circuit operation
Function
Idle jets supply fuel at low engine speeds and part throttle conditions until the air speed increases sufficiently to start drawing fuel from the main circuit. This can occur anywhere up to 3000rpm depending on the engine and venturi size used. The progression holes work in conjunction with the idle jet during the transition stage from idle to main circuit operation.
Compatibility
Suitable for Weber carburettors including: ADC, ADF, ADFA, ADL, ADLA, ADLD, ADM, DAC, DAR, DARA, DAT, DATA, DATR, DATRA, DCOF, DFAV, DFC, DFE, DFM, DFT, DFTA, DFTH, DFTM, DFV, DGAR, DGAS, DGAV, DGF, DGMS, DGS, DGV, DHS, DHSA, DHTA, DIC, DICA, DMS, DMSA, DMTC, DMTE, DMTL, DMTR, DMTRA, DMTT, DPS, DRT, DRTC, DRTM, DSTA, IBA, ICB, ICEV, ICR, IDAP, IDT, TL, TLA, TLC, TLF, and 3-barrel carburettors.
Installation
Sold as a single unit. One idle jet required per carburettor barrel. Professional installation recommended for optimal performance.
