Provisional Driver Plate – P2 = Green P on White Background with 100 Speed Limit Marking
What You Might Need To Know
- NSW P2 drivers have a maximum speed limit imposed of 100kph.
- There are no requirements for the speed markings to be displayed by law.
- If you are travelling interstate, displaying the speed limit markings might reduce confusion for other road users when in speed zones that exceed your 100kph limit.
- Can be used in QLD, NSW, SA, NT and ACT.
- All states require P Plates to be displayed so that the entire Plate is visible at all times.
- The magnetic plates are designed to stick onto a metal surface of the vehicle.
Tips from our team:
- Prior to attaching magnetic plates to paintwork, ensure the paint surface is clean to avoid scratching or marring the finish. The clean surface will also reduce the chance of the plate becoming displaced by wind. A quick detailer spray and a microfibre cloth is handy to have in the vehicle for this task, it’s not just for bird and bat droppings.
- We suggest that the plates are not placed on the same location for long periods of time. UV not only can damage our skin, the pigments in paint can also break down from UV exposure. The paint under the plate will fade slower than exposed surfaces. Moving the plate around will reduce the chance of a plate “tan line”.
- After rainfall, we recommend removing the plate and drying the surface. Moisture trapped under the magnetic plate has the potential to damage paint surfaces. The quick detailer spray and microfibre are great for this task.
- Welcome to the independence found in the joy of driving! Stay alert and be patient whilst out on the roads, we want you to enjoy motoring for many years ahead. You now have a M.A.T.E. that understands the journey ahead.
Magnetic Backing
The magnetic backing allows easy placement of the plate on most metal surfaces.
Easy Installation
Our magnetic plates find most metal surfaces on vehicles highly attractive. Simply find a highly visible location, place the plate on the surface and witness the powers of attraction in action. You will find our magnetic plates will not hang around when presented to plastic, fibreglass, carbon fibre, stainless steel or glass finishes but we have other plates that might match your requirements, like static-cling or plastic plates.
Easy Removal
No adhesive here! By using magnetic backed material, the plates are easily removed by rolling a corner back and peeling off the surface.
